Dear OPIRG Hiring Committee,

My name is Chelsea Flook and I am writing in response to the ad regarding the position in your organization. From what I have gathered, the position sounds like a great opportunity to work on a project that is beneficial to the community, OPIRG, and beyond.

As far as computer qualifications are concerned, I am proficient in MS Word, WordPerfect, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, and can learn quickly in any publishing or digital design suite. I have been formally instructed in these programs, and also take a personal interest in self-publishing and digital imaging and generally am a quick learner. For a sample look at some of my digital formatting work, you can visit my online blog at www.goodnewseveryday.blogspot.com. Also posted on this site is a CD design for a commemoration mix that honours Louis Muto; a friend who passed away from Bacterial Meningitis. The CD cover and back jacket were designed and completed in Adobe Photoshop. For a compilation of the designs on my blog, see http://www.uneasel.com/chelsea-design.

In addition to my computer-based qualifications, I am a reliable and enthusiastic worker who takes pride and joy in working on projects that will benefit the community, as my volunteer commitments reflect. I am an active member of a working group of OPIRGs’ [Students With A Collective Conscience] and enjoy being highly committed to a variety of activities; it keeps the brain young they say. I am also well connected to a variety of local student groups and environmental organizations, should such a socialite quality one day come in handy.

We will change the world starting with our community first.

Attached is my resume. Thank you for your time, and I do hope to hear from you soon.

Best,

Chelsea Flook

talk more about terrorists that you've helped bring to justice. It will help distract from your faults, it will also serve to keep people afraid enough to do what you think is best. after all you caught the terrorists.
