So apparently you can't be a homosexual in the American Army- particularly the paratroopers unit. This, I did not know.
from thestar.com, originally AP:
The 15,000 paratroopers of the 82nd Airborne are among the U.S. army's elite soldiers, all having volunteered to serve in a unit that trains to deploy anywhere in the world within 18 hours.
The military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy states ``homosexual orientation alone is not a bar to service but homosexual conduct is incompatible with military service."
Service members who violate the policy are removed from the military.
several of their members were engaged in some sort of homosexual video scandal. the scandal being the blokes making money off pornographic images.
i wonder if kid rocks sex tapes will get him banned from entertaining the army again. probably not, those tapes were heterosexual. If you dont know what im talking about:

Anyway, i really don't see how being homosexual is not compatible with military service. Is it just because then they cant yell 'fag' or 'homo' in the faces of their privates? ha ha no pun intended.
If anyone can come up with any rational explanation for why homosexuals cant be in this division let me know.
