return of the bad news

hi everyone, im back, its been a while and i know there has been plenty of bad news to blather on about. Some of the worst news lately is all the fuss coming out of america over martins comments. i wish it werent an election, then we'd know if martin was going to say that either way, and that the comments couldnt be attributed only to electioneering. what martin had to say had some legitimacy, and though canadas own track record on the environmental front is lagging, what martin said meant something to a lot of environmentalists who wished someone had the tenacity to say something like that. and they listened. environmentalists and intellectuals say the essence of what was said all the time. it takes someone exactly like paul martin, or just someone in his position of importance, to say something that even catches the ear of american politicians.

though they're not concerned at the truth of the comment, just that anyone was willing to be so openly critical.

beebly bop.
