so i havent watched much tv today, therefore, i have little to say about ads regarding the election. i do however, have one small thing to say, i thought of it while transiting around picking up my favorite papers. i keep wondering what makes something newsworthy and what makes something not worthy of newspaper publications. first id venture to argue that newspapers are, in short, outlets of current events and ongoing world crisis. but then this doesn't fit what happens in the publication process. there are no ongoing death tolls of those who have died from AIDS in africa. these stories are not news. when death becomes ordinary like this, and is not reported daily, a few notable changes occur, methinks.
for one, the silence of the agencies implies consent to the circumstances of the people.
but before i continue adding what it does mean, i must insist that the whole void of newsworthy un-news really demands greater attention as to what certain parts of the globe are and are not hearing.
what the silence also does is dehumanize us all.

This is how news work, the order of importance
1-Something really scary and big that could affect YOU!!! (preferably kill you)
2-Fun disaster, cause everyone want to know how much EXACTLY other suffer (please included # of deaths and approximate amount of damage in american currency). If the damage is natural, please make sure to include any specualtion of the reasons of the damage wether political, religious or weather related, please include a short statemet about the environment and some alarmed environment guy.
This is where I stop, I guess
