imagine a conservative MAJORITY, then press escape

in canadian politics, i am not to vote for what i believe in, i am not to make a positive choice for my vision of canada and what thay may entail. i am only asked to vote for who i dislike the least, and sometimes, in the face of whom i dislike the most gaining the upper hand, i have to vote for who i dislike the second most just to make sure the party i dislike the most doesnt get too much power.

then come the conditionals.

if conservative majority, then quebec referendum
if conservative minority, then election soon enough
if liberal majority, then more of the same centrist nonsensery
if liberal minority, then NDP voice for once *

*this is my favorite probable-possible outcome.

and so this is democracy, and what have you done?
