renegotiation of the past week

the past week has had a lot of thoughts which i think will just issue forth in a forced eclecticism cause i just want to blurt them out.

i am becoming uninterested in my future as a professor if masters degrees and phD's are written to be easy to read. i read foucault in the past few weeks and think that so much mainstream affordable academic thought is but one system applied with faith a hundred times to all of our different enquiries.

'acting principles'- how boring, nobody would ever listen to something they dont make a new understanding of. this term for what i want to describe says too much of that which i am trying to exclude from its inclusion: good and bad/evil, and morality in our state narrative.

because i also think that its the way we loosely concieve of ourselves as moral beings; aiming for what is virtuous but not all the time, inconsistent but unknowingly so, believing in something and holding contradictory views about that which we believe we believe in: at the periphery of these contradictory instances of irrational false rationalism, i would reveal, is the location of my cultures silent consent to the economic enslavement of the peoples of the third and developing world.

by holding any beliefs, we contradict ourselves into consent. by profiting from the current situation without recourse to alternatives and not taking agency and instead receiving structure, by holding beliefs about ourselves and having the capacity to believe opposing arguments as tautologies, we participate quietly. all messages communicated about what is good and bad and received partially or wholly keep us contradicting ourselves.

everything is mental, there is no physical violence but a mentality attempting to overthrow another through the easiest means.

whoa, you shoulda just seen what followed that. good thing i deleted it.
